Meals at the Schoodic Institute

schoodic-infopdfMost of the lodging options at the Schoodic Institute are equipped with kitchens where you may bring and prepare your own food. However, the Institute also offers flexible meal options that you can tailor to your needs by selecting specific meals for a fixed price. Meals are in the Schoodic Commons dining hall. Please note that there is an 8% Maine state dining tax.

Meal options include:

  • Breakfast — $12/person/day
  • Lunch (dining hall or a bag lunch to take out) — $16/person/day
  • Dinner — $22.50/person/day
  • Cook-out — $22.50/person

NOTE:  All meal plans must be purchased at time of reservation. It is not possible to change your mind and purchase meals at a later time. Please indicate on your registration form if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences.

Bonfire & Drum Circle
Schoodic Institute Pavilion

Close the day with joy and celebration and share with others what you’ve learned and experienced from your time together. An outdoor cook-out, bonfire and a spiritual drumming experience with Todd Glacy will connect you with each other and the natural world all around you. The drumming session will be around a bonfire and begin after the cookout. The menu includes standard outdoor BBQ fare; however, a vegetarian option will be available.

Note: Meal tickets for the cook-out must be ordered at time of registration through the Schoodic Institute’s UEvent system. The cost is $22.50/person. You also may bring your own food. If you plan to invite a non-conference attendee as a guest, tickets must also be purchased at time of reservation.

How to Reserve Lodging & Meals

All lodging reservations and meal arrangements are managed directly by the Institute’s hospitality staff through an online reservation system called UEvent. The information in the system reflects conference pricing and availability.
